Leaving for Interlaken

We left Villa Bonelli around 5:15 pm on Thursday, February 26th to hop the #7 bus down to the station. All of us going to Interlaken except Lorenzo were packed on the bus with our stuffed backpacks for the weekend. Checks were done for passports and receipts for skydiving. Only one minor set-back occurred involving left behind tennis shoes which was remedied with a quick purchase. We met up with a few people at a time heading to Interlaken via FlorenceForFun. I noticed at least one other group going to the Swiss Alps meeting at the station as well. After all 27 of us going were accounted for we headed off to the very back of the station where the tour buses go. We hopped on an ALA bus headed toward Switzerland.

On the way there we watched Superbad, a movie I thought was super bad before stopping around 9:45 pm for a break at this AutoGrill. We were given 45 minutes to do our thing before heading off again. As we leave and head back out onto the road someone notices their friend missing. The tour guide had counted before we left but we still left behind this girl. We had to continue driving until we came to an exit, at least 10-20 minutes, before we could turn around. All this time myself and those of us from SMU were playing cards at the back of the bus. Turns out the girl got on the wrong bus and somehow must have contacted our tour guide. It all turned out good so no harm done.

For the next two hours or so we watched the movie Flags of our Fathers. It was a good movie, but the volume was a little too high. After the movie, around 1-ish or so, most of us fell asleep who weren't already. I though we'd be stopped at the border to show our passports as we were leaving the EU but we didn't even get off the bus. Our driver did though so he must have taken care of it. I then couldn't keep my eyes open for anything. I pretty mush passed out until we arrived in Interlaken at the FunnyFarm Hotel, around 3:30 am.

The five of us girls all got two connecting rooms on the seccond floor. After changing into pj's and preparing for bed, we set our alarms for 7 am and crashed at 4 am.
